Your privacy matters to us. This policy describes how Zemto Eats (“Zemto,” “we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and safeguards information when you access our apps, website, and services (“Services”).
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as account details (name, email, phone), delivery addresses, payment methods, and support messages. We also collect data automatically, including device identifiers, app usage, analytics, approximate location, and cookies.
For courier or partner onboarding, we may collect additional identity verification documents as required by law.
2. How we use information
We use your information to process and deliver orders, personalize recommendations, provide customer support, send transactional updates, and improve our Services. With your consent, we may send marketing communications which you can opt out of at any time.
3. Sharing & disclosure
We share information with partner restaurants and couriers to fulfill orders, with payment processors to complete transactions, and with analytics providers to improve our Services. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Zemto, our users, and partners.
4. Data retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account by contacting privacy@zemto.com; certain information may remain in backups or aggregated datasets.
5. Your choices & rights
Manage email preferences in the app or by using unsubscribe links. Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to opt out of certain processing. Submit requests via privacy@zemto.com or through the Privacy Center in the app.
6. Security
Zemto uses administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so we encourage strong passwords and two-factor authentication where available. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account use.
7. Children’s privacy
Zemto Eats is not directed to or intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact privacy@zemto.com for deletion.
8. International transfers
We operate globally. Your information may be transferred and processed outside your country of residence where data protection laws may differ. We implement safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers.
9. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy periodically. When we make significant changes, we will provide notice through email or in-app alerts. Continued use of the Services after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
